Our school holds a special place in the hearts of the people of SBS Nagar as the first English medium school in the district. At the time of its establishment, there was only one district board school catering to the educational needs of the people, and our school was a welcome addition. The school was founded by visionary leaders like Lala Bhadar Sain Larioya and Lala Nauhria Ram Kundra, who were prominent figures in the early days of our institution. Lala Harkrishan Lal was the first headmaster of the school and played an instrumental role in shaping the early days of our institution.
In 1958-59, the school was upgraded to higher secondary, and in 1986, it was further upgraded to offer education up to the +2 level under the national scheme.
